| 02: Episode 1 : Boardroom analysis
As I expected Frank team lose to Heidi's. Not only that, one
by one bad news came in. First, to hear that the winning
team will have a nice reward, eating somewhere cool in LA.
Then, to hear that they have to camp in the backyard, and
the swimming pool is just meters away.
Swimming pool is one of the element I love this season.
It is better than in New York where they live in a close
place, and the best place to backstab people is inside their
room. Now they can b**** about each other while floating on
that balloon. How cool is that?
Boardroom
It's a show of Martin and Frank. Plus Heidi. That's the
three name you need to know for the moment. Other than that,
we wait them making some trouble on the other episode.
The premise is simple.
Frank should be fired because he didn't set the price,
didn't manage the team well, etc.
Martin should be fired because he wasn't working hard
enough.
At the end, Martin was fired.
Here's some interesting point about the boardroom.
1. Most of them keep quiet as the previous contestants
always do. That is the recipe of success.
Sometimes I think that it's better to keep quiet because
once you say something wrong, you're on the hot seat. When
Trump asked Frank how he thinks about Martin, and he
answered 'brilliant', Trump started to feel unhappy. Next
time you want to say such thing, put a 'but' at the end
before Trump interrupt.
2. Two of the contestants think that Martin and Frank
should be fired. It seems like everyone expect double (or
quadruple) elimination to happen sooner or later. It seems
like a good answer. But I think it is lame and they were
playing it safe. Maybe when next time you are in the hot
seat, you will hope that you never say that.
3. Frank stumble too fast. He should realize that he lose
by 200. It's not really a huge different and he should draw
the line that the reason of losing is not because of the
management or whatsoever.
4. On the other hand, Martin should talk less. I was
wondering, why did I find his speech was so not interesting,
and his proverb sounded awkward. Oh, maybe because the
background music wasn't on his side. And this is reality tv.
Do you ever wonder why they don't make any reality tv
related to literature, history subject and nerds, except in
Beauty and The Geeks, but still it's not the show about 'who
want to be a geeks'.
Overall
Seems like it's going to be a good season. The twist of
winning project manager sitting by Trump's side seems to be
interesting. But I wonder, let say that the winning project
manager says something stupid. Will he get fired
immediately. That will be such an interesting twist...
*My question about how do Heidi's team got the topless
male was answered in extra video which you can watch on the
official site of The Apprentice.
