03: Episode 2 : A story of pink swimwear
15 January 2007I was going to write the same title
as last week, that is 'Boardroom Analysis'. But then, I
figure out that there's nothing much to analyze. The reason
of losing is so obvious, and there's no one to be blame
except Kerry. I thought that Michelle was pretty annoying in
the task when she argue about the price. But, because she
also said bad thing about the pink swimwear, I was on her
side. Yeah, Kerry was going into his own direction, quoting
what Michelle said.
And actually, the team should be thankful for that
because if
Michelle didn't speak up, then Kerry will said that it's the
team fault because they never told him so. It's kinda
similar tactic used by Heidi. When Heidi wasn't interested
in Marissa's swimsuit, she object it at first and then she
said, 'we don't have time to change it right now, so..' and
she accept it. That's a good trick because if her team lose,
she can simply says that she didn't like the suit but she
approve it as there's not much time and having not enough
suit is much worse scenario.
I do believe that Heidi will stay quite long in this show.
Anyway, that's enough with the boardroom thing. Kerry and
his pink swimwear was the second to go. I can write 2-3
paragraph about his mistakes but I guess it's crystal clear.
Let's go to the other part of the story. The element of
the game.
I just notice that the first boardroom was during the day.
It's kinda cool because some fresh element is good for
a reality show. And the separation between loser and winner
actually create much more tense and boost up the team
spirit. It's funny to see the winning team sneaking out,
trying to hear what the losing team arguing about.
And there comes Andy. Where's the house keeper? This
week, we've been introduced with Andy and now she's the one
who open the door, making the call etc. And she didn't have
her own desk.
And for the first time ever, the winning team is exempted
from next week task, which mean that they are safe for
another week. I guess next week, Trump will divide the
losing group into two teams, and we'll see they compete as
it is Final 7, but it's not. It's a good thing for losing
team actually. At least 3 of them will win this time.
But it leave me with questions. So will Heidi be sitting
in the same seat in the boardroom week or will it be
the new winning project manager? Or as the losing team
numbers is odd, will she be sent to one of the team to make
it equal. I don't really see it happening, but it will be
cool to see that happen.
What's more about this episode? Aaron was wearing contact
lenses in the dark and if you notice, he didn't get it onto
his eye on the first attempt (assuming that it was his first
attempt). I was wearing contact lenses and as far as I know,
usually you try to open your eye with one hand, and try to
put it in with another hand (finger on the other hand). Like
the bad guy in 24 Season 1 did.
But anyway, we don't really get to know much of them.
Even in the task, that's nothing obvious done by the rest of
the team. Maybe because of the nature of this task also.
Hopefully the other candidates will shine more next week.
And the other thing, I love and hate the new opening
montage. I love the part where most of them has candid
pictures as it's kinda friendly montage, but I hate when they
put clip of Trump saying 'you're fired'. It's weird and
doesn't match the sound, I guess.
Okay, enough of this week. #
