04: Episode 5 : A bee in the boardroom
12 February 2007Aimee
surprised me. She was so loud in the boardroom and she was
so annoying, considering she was not that good in her own
leadership. I was pretty sad to see Aaron leave the game, as
I started to like every single member of Arrow, except
Surya.
The game started very fast. We've
seen some mini Fear Factor challenge (surrounded by bee for
few minutes) in the bee farm. And some excitement and joy in
the factory when Tim and Frank played around. Seriously, I
thought Frank was going to be the villain of this season
after what he did on the first episode. But then, he turn
out to be a nice guy, and even stop talking when Trump asked
him to, in the boardroom.
And then we have some issue about
planning. In Arrow, Aaron was having problem with Surya
talking too much. This is the first Aaron's mistake. As a
project manager, he should stop Surya from keep going on.
His incapability of doing so was a good reason for his
depart.
But let's see Aimee's team. The one
who was very loud in the boardroom was the one who spent 4
hours doing nothing, and not even have the name for the
product. 4 hours? I could sit with a friend, talk about my
childhood story, then badmouthing some friends, and make a
wrap up chit chatting session within 4 hours. And she
doesn't even have a name for the product?
It shouldn't be just about the
name. If you can't get a name, do something else. Watch tv,
or cook some lunch. Yeah, right.. That's probably what she
did.
This episode was compiled in a very
good way. We even see some problem while the sales was going
on. With Surya interrupting Nicole and Aimee had some
windows shopping while Muna and Derek unpacking the box, and
yet Aimee was the one who said in the boardroom how good she
was. Not in the exact word, but you know what I mean.
And then Kinetic won and enjoyed
their reward.
In the boardroom, one of the
interesting issue they brought up is Nicole and Tim. And we
can see from the 'next week on The Apprentice' clip, showing
something going on with them. That's going to be another
great episode, I guess.
Overall, this is a great episode.
But these are things that bother me a little bit:
1. Don't sell your team out
First with James. When Sean asked
him about Aaron's leadership. He gave a very honest
perspective. He should, if he was asked in the boardroom.
But not in the game. I just think that it is not
professional enough.
Second with Surya. I guess trying
to get some protection from Aimee is a good strategy to save
himself. But he was stumble at the point answering 'which
team is better', but interrupted by Aaron. If I were Aaron,
I will use that point as my defending statement. Saying that
it's not on the team fault for blaming Surya as he didn't
really feel that he belong to the team.
2. Shut up *****
I started to see how tough sitting
beside Trump can be. It seems like Heidi had pin up a high
standard of sitting there. Don't be too quiet like Aaron but
yet don't be to loud like Aimee.
I was so irritated seeing Aimee
being so outspoken as she is so good. Yeah, next time she
lose, I hope someone from Arrow will treat her the same way.
That is all for this week. The best
episode yet for this season, for me.
Pick of the week:
Tim, Frank & Nicole (for making
a good episode)
Good to bad impression: Surya
Cute personality : Muna (still)
Started to appear on screen: Aimee
Started to dissapear from screen:
Heidi
Who are they?: Angela,
Kristine, Jenn
