Where to go, in London?
One of the things matter about visiting a place, is whether
the place is very interesting or not. Usually one will
concern about time, satisfaction and money.
One of the very informational page
is
Yahoo Travel : Things to do in London
Besides ranking it like music
chart, it also provide the address of the place and the
ticket price, opening time and some review.
Because for me, I'm surely want to
go to the place that is popular. But sometimes, as tv-rating,
a high rating tv series doesn't mean it will satisfy
everyone. So do the place. Some place may favour some people
and may not to the the others.
What's up with the address?
Here is an example. Let say you
view the information of Tower Bridge.

Then you can see under the name of
Tower Hill, there is a postcode 'SE1 2UP'. This is the way
postcode being written.
Then what you should do next is go
to any map site, I use
Google UK
Map. And insert 'SE1 2UP' in the search box. And search
for it.

So now, you know that in order to get there, you can stop
by in London Bridge Station or Borough Station (which is
much further obviously but this is what we call as
'option'). Isn't it convenient ?
I visited...
I visited some of this place
because I think it is cool. Doesn't mean that this is the
best place.

London
Millennium Eye A
big Ferris wheel next to Thames River. You can watch
the city of London from up high. Appear on The
Amazing Race (US) and BBMak - Back Here video clip (Click
here to watch).
I suggest you to watch the video clip for proper
preview.
I asked myself, is it
really fun? If you go there with someone, it might
be good coz it's the time of sharing a moment. I
went there alone so... But anyway, to think back
now, I guess one of the place worth visit especially
if you live in London. You don't want people to say,
'what? You live there but you never try?'
Price: Around £13 |

The British Museum
One of the reason I went there
is because it is free. It is free and lot of things
inside. An interesting thing about the museum is, it
divide the section to the name of continent. There
are Asia, Europe, Africa and so on. I spent two
hours there, and I just went for Europe and Africa
part.
So, I guess you can figure
out how long it will takes for you to finish looking
everything. And if you are interested of knowing
what beneath the things being displayed, add another
hour for that (figure of speech, not statistical
analysis :)

Trafalgar
Square & The National Gallery
So why there is an 'and'
there? Because Trafalgar Square is located next to
National Gallery.
If you're not really into
art, like I am, but you don't mind having a
art-seeing, so, you can pay a visit to The National
Gallery. They have some free section worth seeing.
Some Europe style painting, err.. I know I'm not
good of describing art thingy.
What's there in Trafalgar
Square? Just some horse and lion sculpture and
people doing nothing. It doesn't sound cool eh, but
I found out it is one of the good place to hang out
thinking of nothing.
London is a busy place. To
have a place to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere
plus a new view is good for relaxation.

Hyde Park
This is the park next to
Oxford Street. They do have some tour service around
the park. I don't really know what's more inside
this park because I just stop for 10-15 minutes here
on the way to somewhere.
A nice view. Lot of pigeon.
Green grass field like watching some of Hindustan
movies. |
